Style GCR
Spiral Winding +
Outer Ring
Contains an Outer, External Ring usually made
with Carbon Steel. This style is most commonly
used. Used with raised and flat faced flanged

Style G2R
Spiral Winding + Outer Ring + Inner Ring
This Gasket contains Spiral Winding, Outer Ring
and an Inner Ring. Commonly used with flat face
and raised face flanges. Recommended for high
pressure/temperature services.
ASME B16.20 requires Inner Rings on Gasket with
PTFE fillers
